Ericsson Antenna System (EAS) is providing a complete range of high-quality Antenna and Antenna Line Devices and is an integral part of Ericsson Radio Systems.

We are now looking for a highly committed Producibility Simulation Specialist located in Rosenheim, Germany. In this role you will drive our design for manufacturing process as early as possible in the development cycle. Therefore you develop strong simulation expertise for different manufacturing processes and enable the digitalization and documentation of this knowledge.

Our focus is on lean and agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams where diversity, knowledge sharing and collaboration create true innovation.



What you will do:


  • Develop and define simulation models for several manufacturing processes, starting with soldering technologies

  • Formulate investigation objectives in the product development, as well as lead and execute those projects

  • Run simulations and analyses to define design changes

  • Engage in hardware tests to improve accuracy of simulation models

  • Drive antenna design for competitive time to market

  • Work with cross-functional R&D team on tools and interfaces for aligned simulation workflow

  • Implement strategic work tasks and integrate innovative technologies

  • Train and support team with simulation know-how

  • Work in interdisciplinary teams with Ericsson groups worldwide to collaborate and build knowledge



You will bring:


  • A Bachelor or Master´s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or process Engineering or an equivalent qualification

  • 3+ years of experience the field of thermal and mechanical simulation and applied methods are particularly advantageous

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding in working with Ansys, while being familiar with further tools like Comsol is a plus

  • Profound knowledge in electronic materials & electrical assembly processes (wave & reflow soldering)

  • Experience in test planning & analysis (DoE)

  • Knowledge and experience in CAD, Matlab & MS-Office

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teamwork and collaboration

  • Self-motivation and structured way of working

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
